Product functions:
Connecting the frame and axle, there are two types of structure, Type I and Type V. The purpose is mainly to overcome the fact that the leaf spring can only transmit vertical force and lateral force, but cannot transmit traction force, braking force and corresponding reaction force moment. Our company has the ability to design integrated forging thrust rods, friction welded aluminum alloy thrust rods, and friction welded carbon steel thrust rods.
Materials: Alloy steel, carbon steel, aluminum alloy, rubber, plastics, etc.
Commercial vehicles, construction machinery (including truck cranes, pump trucks, concrete mixer trucks, mining trucks, etc.)

Chassis Air Spring Product1 - MEICHEN

V-shaped thrust rod
During the development process, not only are key components subjected to bench performance tests and fatigue life tests, but also suspension system performance and fatigue life tests are conducted.

Friction welding thrust rods can achieve a weight reduction of 1kg per piece compared to hot riveting thrust rods. Based on a single vehicle with 4 straight rods and 2 V-rods, the weight reduction per vehicle can be calculated as 8-10kg, which is expected to reduce material costs compared to hot riveting products.

FAQ

Q1: What makes the V-shaped thrust rod special for trucks?
A: It hooks the frame to the axle. Beats leaf spring limits by sending pull force, brake push, and twist holds. V-type adds side force grip too. We craft types like integrated forge or friction weld in alloy steel. That boosts steady hauls on rough spots.
Q2: How does friction welding help these rods?
A: It joins aluminum or carbon steel smooth. Cuts weight by 1kg each vs old hot rivet style. For trucks with 4 straight and 2 V-rods, that’s 8-10kg less per rig. Lowers build costs and lightens loads for better fuel.
Q3: What tests do you run on these thrust rods?
A: Key bits get bench checks for strength and shake life. Full suspension setup faces fatigue runs too. That spots weak links early. Ensures rods last in real truck jobs like crane lifts or mine pulls. No surprises on roads.
Q4: What stuff builds these V-rods?
A: Alloy or plain steel for tough core. Light aluminum alloy trims heft. Rubber adds bend. Plastics help seals. We mix for your truck needs, like pump or mixer vans. Keeps them strong in dust and heat.
Q5: Where do V-shaped thrust rods fit best?
A: On work trucks for big hauls. Crane rigs for high lifts. Pump rolls for wet flows. Mixer spins for builds. Mine haulers for dirt paths. Skips small cars. We tweak OEM or ODM for your gear quick.
