In order to thoroughly implement the series of decisions and arrangements of the province and the city on production safety, as well as the requirements of the Zhucheng Safety Committee Office’s “Notice on Carrying out the “First Lesson” Activity of Production and Operation Units’ Production Safety Start-up”, and to do a good job in production safety after the holiday, Shandong Meichen Industrial Group Co., Ltd. organized a “First Lesson” production safety meeting on February 17. The company’s chairman Wang Yonggang, general manager Li Ruilong, safety director Zhang Chongsen and members of the company’s leadership team attended the meeting.
The meeting took “the first thing to do when starting work is to talk about safety and grasp safety” as the core idea, and conducted comprehensive teaching and learning around the safety production situation, policy analysis, accident warning education and safety work deployment. At the same time, the company organized a safety inspection of key areas, key positions, special operations, etc. to ensure that all inspection locations are covered, hidden dangers are checked without omission, and all kinds of safety accidents are resolutely prevented and curbed.
The meeting required that, first, all cadres and employees of the company should firmly establish the idea of ”stressing safety and grasping safety”, and all departments should use pre-shift and post-shift meetings to strengthen employee safety education, educate and guide employees to overcome post-holiday syndrome, focus their minds and energy on work, and ensure that everyone can get back on track; second, the company’s safety committee should establish a detailed record of the safety hazards and problems found and clarify the rectification time limit, and require the responsible unit to designate a person to be responsible for rectification and cancellation, to ensure closed-loop management of hazard rectification; third, before resuming work and production, all departments must ensure that key personnel are complete, safety training is in place, risk control is in place, hazard management is in place, equipment and facilities are maintained, and technical measures are implemented in place, so as to ensure a stable start and a good start.
The meeting emphasized that the company should continue to study and implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important instructions and instructions on work safety, comprehensively enhance safety awareness, and resolutely implement the requirements of “Party and government share the same responsibility, one post with two responsibilities, joint efforts, and accountability for dereliction of duty” and “three controls and three musts”.
