On the morning of June 21, Shandong Meichen Industrial Group Co., Ltd. and Zhucheng Federation of Trade Unions jointly held a mass safety production knowledge training class, inviting Li Jinguo, director of the training department of the Municipal Safety Training Center, and Sui Shulan, an advanced worker of Shandong Province and former director of the emergency department of Zhucheng People’s Hospital, to give lectures. Liu Jiahui, member of the party group and vice chairman of the Municipal Federation of Trade Unions, and Zhang Chongsen, deputy secretary of the party committee and chairman of the trade union of Shandong Meichen Industrial Group Co., Ltd. attended the event.
Director Li Jinguo focused on the theme of the mass production safety activity of “inspection, protection and promotion” and explained in an easy-to-understand manner the main factors that cause safety accidents, safety management methods, safety hazard inspections and safety accident prevention measures through case analysis, picture and video presentations, and theoretical explanations. This has guiding significance for improving the safety awareness of trainees and enhancing their emergency response skills for sudden accidents.
Director Sui Shulan explained in detail the knowledge of cardiopulmonary resuscitation and Heimlich first aid for airway obstruction. Focusing on the on-site environment, casualty assessment, first aid measures, and operating precautions, she used graphic explanations and scenario simulations to enable the trainees to truly learn the “life-saving techniques” and master the operating essentials.
At the training class, a manual on methods of mass production safety activities “Check hidden dangers around you, ensure employee safety, and promote enterprise development” was distributed to employees, and the “Ankang Cup” employee safety emergency skills knowledge competition was held.
Through this training, the company further enhanced the safety production knowledge of employees, strengthened the sense of responsibility for job safety, and resolutely overcame blind optimism and laxity, so as to better carry out safety production management. In the next step, the company will take the “Safety Production Month” activity as an opportunity to organize various forms of safety production publicity and education activities, continue to strengthen the main responsibility for safety production, investigate and eliminate various safety hazards, and continuously improve the company’s safety management level.
